Safari lodge on the Monwana Watercourse in Thornybush Game Reserve
Accommodation
Serondella Safari Lodge offers luxury suites with air conditioning, mosquito nets, and tea-and-coffee-making facilities. Each suite is decorated in natural colours with an African theme and includes complimentary bathroom amenities. The lodge also has a three-bedroom villa called Willem's Den with a private boma and heated plunge pool.
Location & Wildlife
The lodge is situated on the Monwana Watercourse within Thornybush Game Reserve, flanked by two waterholes that attract elephants, abundant bird life, and other wildlife. Set in the mid-section of 14,000 hectares of pristine African Bushveld, guests can view animals from the waterholes or from elevated viewing hides. Kruger Park's Orpen Gate is 66 km away, and Hoedspruit Eastgate Airport is 18 km from the lodge.
Activities
Game drives are led by skilled rangers and trackers who guide guests through the reserve. Walking tours are also offered for a closer look at the bush. The lodge has a swimming pool and an outdoor fitness centre for use between safari outings.
Wellness & Leisure
The spa and wellness centre provides spa facilities and treatments, with sun loungers and beach chairs available around the heated outdoor pool. The pool is open all year and surrounded by a sun terrace with umbrellas. Guests can also use the shared lounge/TV area and the garden with outdoor furniture.
Family & Services
Family rooms and a kid-friendly buffet are available, and babysitting or child services can be arranged. The lodge offers daily housekeeping, laundry, and ironing service, plus a bar with wine and champagne.
